IntelexVision to spearhead the performance of its Sentry solution via the Metropolis platform
CHATHAM UK, January 2023 – IntelexVision today announced it will join NVIDIA Metropolis, a partner program focused on bringing to market a new generation of vision AI applications, to develop its Sentry solution. NVIDIA Metropolis nurtures a rich ecosystem and offers powerful developer tools to supercharge vision AI applications that are designed to make the world’s most important spaces and operations safer and more efficient.
IntelexVision is the latest company to gain access to the development toolset and broad partner ecosystem of the Metropolis platform. Utilising cutting-edge technology, IntelexVision will improve the engineering and efficiency of its Sentry solution.
Sentry is a full-spectrum AI analysis platform used for real-time monitoring of networked video camera imagery, capable of dealing with a wide range of complex, live video environments. Its self-learning network uses behavioural anomaly detection and advanced motion analysis to create ‘abnormal activity’ alerts. An array of GPU-based deep learning algorithms work together to automatically dismiss alerts, generate automated alarms or send them to the control room for human intervention.
IntelexVision Sentry delivers significant financial return on existing video camera infrastructure. It is designed to work with different infrastructure environments, maximising the value of existing hardware investments and enhancing scalability. It can also analyse hundreds of video analytics channels on a single workstation or enterprise server, delivering quicker response times and reduced false alerts.
